



MEDITERRANEAN CUISINE.
Mediterranean cuisine comes from the many cultures of the three continents,
Europe, Asia and Africa on the coast of Mediterranean Sea.
The sunny Mediterranean region produces some of the best figs, plums,
peaches, cherries, citrus fruits,asparagus, aubergines, olives, tomatoes as
well as herbs including rosemary, basil, cilantro, parsley, mint, dill, fennel,
and oregano.
There are a variety of fresh cheeses, usually made from the goats or sheeps
milk. The Mediterranean sea itself plays a role in the Mediterranean diet:fish
and shellfish are popular.
Only fresh local ingredients are used for traditional Mediterranean dishes
and
most are prepared with olive oil and freshly chopped garlic .
