Wine Tours in France

Think of wine and you think of France! Wine
production has helped shape the French culture,
landscape and people.
France has some of the world's most famous
vineyards. The French wine regions offer countless
wine tours and tasting options. There are also tours
of vineyards that show how the wine is made. Look
out for signs saying "Degustation" which means wine
tasting. 'En Vente Directe" means they have direct
sales and “Vin Emporter” means they sell wine for you
to take with you.
There are also courses on winemaking and the art of
wine tasting at several fine French Chateau where
accommodation is included.
The harvest time from mid to late September is a good
time for wine tasting and there are usually plenty of
harvest festivals on at this time.
