LA TAMARISSIERE is a beautiful Mediterranean coastal village just outside Agde City. It has its own little pine forest and fantastic sandy beaches with the Massif Central, Pyrenees and Spanish mountains all visible in the distance.

This delightful village has many wonderful walks nearby. The UNESCO world heritage Canal du Midi is only a short stroll away.

Plenty of tour boat trips, sailing, wind surfing and of course swimming in the warm sea, with soft breezes, and over 300 days of sushine per year.

A popular spot for fishing, along the banks of the River Hérault, and on the piers in the Med. La Tamarissière is where the vineyards meet the sea and is know by the locals simply as "Paradise!"

Nearby Roman Attraction : Visit The Roman Bridge in St Thibery, crossing the River Herault. It is the longest bridge of the old Roman Road (“Via Domitia”) linking Rome to Spain.
